Producers are needed everywhere within the games industry as more and more productions require guidance, control and supervision. With a duration of four semesters, this program teaches the basics of business management and law. Furthermore, students will obtain a thorough knowledge of Game Design, Interface Design and Quality Assurance through hands-on skill training related to projects developed at the Academy. This demanding program also teaches students how to organize and instruct groups and teams. Applicants should be communicative, well-organized, and possess good social skills.
Game Producers are responsible for optimizing the quality of their products especially with regards to game play, including graphic and acoustic aspects. This is achieved by keeping developers and publishers focused on the product’s most important characteristics, by managing time, quality, and budget. Once Game Producers gain experience within the industry, they will ﬁnd more options open to them. One such opportunity for advancement is the position of Executive Producer, whose main responsi-bility is ensuring on-schedule and within-budget delivery. Our program’s strong focus on the economic and legal aspects of the industry prepares Producers well.
